Because of concern for the spread of the Covid-19 virus our elders have met and prayed about any changes to our services and made the following decisions in the best interest for our flock.
For Sunday March 15
Sunday School is cancelled.
The 10:30 Worship will be held as usual w/Junior Church & Nursery Care. We know attendance will likely be down so we may minimize some aspects of the service such as choir.
SALT groups this week have the option to meet if they desire. Check with your SALT group leaders.
All in all we are thankful that no one in our flock has the virus to our knowledge. But we still will take extra effort to be sure we minimize any infected areas. Our cleaning staff has taken extra efforts to be sure to clean all areas of our facility including chairs, floors, door handles, drinking fountains, toilets, furnace filters, and so on.
If you have any concern for being in public due to low immunity, age, various health issues or if you are just uncertain, then please feel free to stay home. We prefer to minimize risks. No one will look down on you.
If you do come to church please wash your hands, avoid physical contact with others, have some extra tissues and so on.
All services will be Livestreamed at www.discoverybaptist.org. Just scroll down to the Livestream button and click then select the appropriate services. All services can be watched at a later date also.
Continue to pray for our president and government officials as they deal with this. Pray for God’s leading in reaching the lost at this special time also.
