OUR ASSOCIATIONS
Founded in 1980, we are an independent Baptist church in fellowship with the Baptist Network Northwest (BNN) and the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches (GARBC).
OUR VISION
Our church vision is to disciple individuals towards Christ-likeness through clear Bible teaching, personal Bible study, fervent prayer, sacrificial service, effective outreach and warm fellowship.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
About the Bible...
The Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God and is perfectly sufficient for all our needs (2 Tim. 3:16).
About God...
There is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father (Eph. 4:6), Son (I Cor. 8:6), and Holy Spirit (Eph. 4:30). God created the universe (Gen. 1,2). Satan rebelled against God (Isaiah 14:12-15) and is the father of lies (John 8:44) seeking to oppose God and those who do God's will (1 Pet. 5:8).
About Mankind...
Mankind has been "fearfully and wonderfully" created (Ps. 139:14) in the image of God (Gen. 1:27), but we are sinners by nature and by choice and are therefore totally depraved (Rom. 3:10-19).
About Salvation...
Salvation is wholly of grace through Jesus Christ when we repent and exercise faith in the resurrected Christ (Rom. 10:9,10; Eph. 2:8,9). Justification declares the believer righteous on the basis of Christ’s shed blood (Rom. 3:24,25). Sanctification is God setting the believer apart for Himself (Heb. 10:10-14). Believers have everlasting life (Rom. 8:35-39).
About the Church...
Christ is the head of the church which is made up of all New Testament believers. The local New Testament Church is autonomous and self-governing (Eph. 1:22, Acts 2:41,42). The ordinances of the church are baptism by immersion and communion. These show respectively our identification and fellowship with Christ (Acts 6:3-5; I Cor. 11:23-28). Believers should separate themselves from worldliness (II Cor. 6:14ff).
About Government...
Civil government is of God (Rom. 13:1).
About Eternity...
Christ will take away (rapture) His believers before His second coming and will set up His kingdom on earth during the millennium (I Thes. 4:13-18; Rev. 19,20). The righteous will live eternally in heaven while the wicked will suffer eternally in hell (John 14:1-3; Rev. 20:14).
